MS Douro Cruiser became, in May 2008, the newest, state-of-the-art, luxury vessel on the Douro River. She has 65 cabins, all with private bathrooms with showers and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. There are four decks. The Sun Deck, 300m2 with bar, swimming pool, and two jacuzzis; the Upper Deck with 38 double cabins with private balconies (15m² each); the Main Deck with 27 double cabins (12.5m2) with large picture windows (1.97 x 1.02m2), panoramic lounge bar with dance floor, and reception area; Lower Deck with restaurant, gift shop and crew area. The Douro Cruiser offers a full-service concierge river cruise experience, with a mixture of international and Portuguese cuisine, onboard entertainment as well as other activities, shows, lectures and demonstrations.

The MV ‘Elegant Lady’ is a four-star luxurious passenger ship, built in Holland in 2003. She has two decks, Main and Upper plus the beautiful sundeck with its loungers for sun worshippers, and a covered area for use in inclement weather. The cabins on both decks are very comfortable with full en-suite shower rooms, colour TV with video information, telephone, mini safe and radio, plus air-conditioning and heating. On the Upper deck you will find reception, the library, with its open fire place, and the large lounge with excellent viewing facilities. The restaurant on Main deck has a large TV with video set-up so you can see the world passing by. The ship is air-conditioned and non-smoking. There is a lift between decks, and a chair lift to the sundeck where you’ll find fitness equipment and a small bar.

Facilities include a restaurant serving buffet breakfasts, four-course lunches and five-course dinners with a choice of main course. The ship has a small library, a comfortable lounge and bar, sauna, solarium and a small indoor pool. The pool area also has fitness equipment. On the partially covered sun deck you may relax on loungers, or play giant chess or quoits. A lift in reception operates between the Main and Upper Decks and gives access to the restaurant. There are 55 cabins on two passenger decks. Each cabin is 12 square metres and is fully equipped with a comfortable bathroom, hair dryer, radio, colour television, individual heating/air conditioning controls, safe, mini bar and telephone.
